We may alter the Terms at anytime making relevant changes to our website at anytime.

Upon placing an order with Woodland Gates & Garage Doors Ltd, the customer is deemed to accept these terms and conditions.

Terms of service

A 20% deposit is required when placing an order. The remainder of balance is to be settled on collection or one day prior to dispatch.


All UK issued credit/debit cards are accepted.  Checks and Bank transfer are made to Woodland Gates & Garage Doors Ltd.

Dispatch of order

Orders are only to be dispatched/collected once the full balance has been received.


Items for delivery/collection are to be inspected by the customer before treating and fitting.

Please contact us prior to making your order for our current lead times.

Lead times are only an estimate.

Online orders (email)

Accurate measurements are to be provided by the customer. The style of gates/garage doors/stable doors are to be specified when placing the order.

Once the order has been placed, confirmation will then need to be made by the customer advising all information is correct.
Any manufacturing faults that are apparent we must be contacted within 3 days of receiving your goods, and they must be in the condition that they were sent out in.

It is advised to store your products in a dry place until fully treated.

Installation and fitting

Fitting cost only covers the day of fitting and no maintenance is covered in the fitting charge.

We do not offer a maintenance service and will not be held accountable for any movement that occurs in the wood as it’s a natural product and our different weather variations can affect this causing shrinking, swelling warping, splits etc…

Treating your gates every 12 months is advisable to upkeep treatment and prolong the life of your goods.


Wood is a natural product and can be subject to movement when exposed to our weather and temperature variations, causing the product to shrink and swell when exposed to these changes.

We try and minimalize the affects of this happening by selecting only the highest quality timber possible however, as previously mentioned wood is a natural product therefore, we cannot offer any guarantees when shrinking, swelling, warping, or bowing once the product has been accepted.

Please also be aware that posts may also move, this again is due to natural causes and the ground over time can move.
As for hardware, again this can wear over time and it is important to maintain and/or replace this.

We do offer other higher quality softwoods/hardwoods that have minimal movement.

None of the above information will affect your statutory rights.


If your goods are fitted and installed untreated, you MUST ensure that treatment is applied immediately.

Treatments include external paints, stains and weather shielding products.

If treatment isn’t applied immediately or correctly this will allow the different weather variations to affect and damage your products.

Please note that wood is natural and will exhibit some movement in the timber, treatment is applied as a preventive measure however, wont stop all movement.

If you have received your goods untreated (natural state) and are unhappy with the quality of your order. Please do not apply treatment, as all products need to be retuned in original state.
